Dysport is an injectable neurotoxin treatment used to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe facial wrinkles, particularly frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines). How Dysport Works

Dysport utilizes a highly purified neurotoxin called abobotulinumtoxinA, which is derived from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. This neurotoxin is meticulously processed to ensure safety and efficacy in cosmetic applications. When injected into specific facial muscles, Dysport works by temporarily blocking the nerve signals that trigger muscle contractions. These contractions are responsible for the formation of dynamic wrinkles, such as frown lines (glabellar lines), forehead lines, and crow’s feet.

Dynamic wrinkles develop over time due to repeated facial expressions like squinting, frowning, and raising eyebrows. With each contraction, the underlying facial muscles tug on the skin, leading to the formation of visible lines and creases.
